The Milwaukee Tennis & Education Foundation is a registered USTA NJTL Tennis Chapter (# 1783) and an official First Serve Chapter.
Founded by Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell and Sheridan Snyder in 1969, USTA National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) is a network of community-driven organizations dedicated to introducing as many youngsters as possible to the lifetime sport of tennis.
First Serve, an internationally recognized youth empowerment organization, has established strategic alliances with the major organizations of professional tennis, along with institutes of higher learning, to develop a network of benefits for qualified tennis and education programs throughout the United States. In addition to benefiting from First Serve's award-winning Life Skills Curriculum, developed by a core group of individuals from Stanford University and considered the most comprehensive life skills curriculum created for any sport, MTEF will receive free training and on-going support for educators and tennis instructors and on an on-going basis.
