When will online registration be available?
Our online system will be available beginning January 30, 2008 to register for the Summer Tennis & Reading Program.

What should my children wear?
Children should wear athletic clothing, including tennis shoes, shorts, and t-shirt.  No sandals please!  Please provide sunscreen protection for your child.

Do I have to provide equipment for them?
MTEF provides the tennis equipment, including racquets, but children are encouraged to bring their own racquet if they have one.  We also provide all books and supplies for the academic portion of the program.

What about food and drink?
We provide water, but children are encouraged to bring their own water bottle.  Food is provided at select sites provided that children are members of the Boys & Girls Club and the Kosciuszko Community Center.

What happens at lunchtime?
The Milwaukee Tennis & Education Foundation does not provide programming between the hours of 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.  If your child is registered for both the morning (9:00 – 12:00 noon) and afternoon (1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) sessions, MTEF will provide adult supervision for children staying on site  over the lunch hour.

What happens if it rains?
Lessons will be cancelled in the event of rain at sites without indoor facilities.  Sites with indoor facilities will move children indoors on days of inclement weather.  We will make every effort to hold both sessions on days that rain threatens.  Please make sure that you are able to pick up your child in the event of rain.

Do you have an attendance policy?
Because of the high demand for this program, attendance is required for all confirmed sessions.  If your child is unable to attend, please contact MTEF as soon as possible at (414) 442-8195 so that another child can be given the space.

When is the last day I can register my child?
Registration for the Summer Tennis & Reading Program closes on June 10th.
