Tennis Site Director

Responsible for overall operation of one (1) of MTEF's five (5) summer sites including: staff supervision; preparation and implementation of daily tennis, reading and life skills curriculum; safety of children, payroll, attendance, etc.  This position requires managing a staff of approximately twelve people.  Considerable tennis teaching and management experience required.  Eight week position, June 16-August 8.  Considerable training provided.  Mandatory training dates are June 9-14, 5:00-7:00 p.m. daily. Preference will be given to full-time applicants.

Youth Tennis Instructor

We are looking for part-time and full-time tennis instructors to staff MTEF's Summer Tennis & Reading Program at neighborhood parks in Milwaukee.  Instructors will work daily 9-4pm to provide tennis instruction within the MTEF tennis curriculum to children, ages 6-17, under the leadership of the head tennis instructor.  Assistant instructors will be responsible for their court; running drills, games, and activities while modeling and reinforcing the First Serve Lite Life Skill Curriculum.  Eight week position, June 16-August 8.  Significant training provided. Mandatory training dates are June 9-14, 5:00-7:00 p.m. daily.  Preference will be given to full-time applicants. 

Youth Reading Instructor

We are looking for part-time and full-time summer reading coordinators to staff MTEF's summer tennis and reading program at neighborhood citywide parks.  The Reading Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and delivering daily (9am – 4pm) literacy activities to children, ages 6-16.  Instructors will also be part of a staff team which is responsible for facilitating activities that help develop essential life skills. Eight week position, June 16-August 8.  Significant training provided. Mandatory training dates are June 9-14, 5:00-7:00 p.m. daily.  Preference will be given to full-time applicants. 

High School Instructors
We are looking for part-time and full-time court monitors to staff MTEF's Summer Tennis & Reading Program at neighborhood parks in Milwaukee.  Monitors will work daily 9-4pm to assist in providing tennis instruction and court management within the MTEF tennis curriculum to children, ages 6-16, under the leadership of the Assistant Tennis Instructor.  Eight week position, June 16-August 8.  Significant training provided. Mandatory training dates are June 9-14, 5:00-7:00 p.m. daily.  Preference will be given to full-time applicants. 

Adult Tennis Instructor

We are looking for instructors to teach adult tennis lessons at neighborhood parks throughout the Milwaukee area. Instructors will be responsible for running drills, games and activities to beginner (2.0) through Tournament Player (4.0).  Lessons begin the first week of May and continue through the fall.  Lesson times are generally 6-7:30 p.m. and on weekends.  Individuals should have adequate playing and teaching experience.  Significant training provided, beginning April 26th.

Outreach Coordinator

The Outreach Coordinator will act as family liaison to the approximately 30 children per site in MTEF's After School TEAM Program (ASTP).  In this capacity, the Coordinator will contact children and parents on a regular basis as counselor and mentor to the families.  Phone calls and home visits will be part of the Coordinator's responsibility.  The AOC will record each call and visit which will be added to MTEF measurement system.  The outreach program will also include each child who is enrolled in the 2008 Summer Tennis & Reading Program. The OC will be responsible for contacting families for this summer's program.  Significant training provided.  The OC must be bilingual if working at a Hispanic location.

Tennis Director- Immediate Opening!  Full time position; $35-$40k salary

We are looking for a full-time, year-round Tennis Director to oversee all aspects of MTEF's junior tennis program.  This includes the Summer Tennis & Reading Program, After School TEAM Program and special tennis events throughout the year.  Responsibilities will include: the hiring, training and supervising site directors, assistant tennis pros and part-time staff; provide direct supervision to all sites including evaluations of all tennis site directors; and develop the  tennis curriculum.
