Milwaukee is home to some of the finest parks in the United States, and many of these parks have tennis courts. Currently, there are 251 public tennis courts in the Milwaukee area. Over the last decade, the number of park courts has decreased by 22%, with many of them being converted to basketball courts. MTEF's mission is to stop this downward trend by parterning with the Milwaukee Public Schools Department of Recreation & Community Services and the Milwaukee County Parks Department, to provide lessons, league play, and special events for free or low cost to residents of Milwaukee.
