Summer TEAM Volunteer
Tenis Instrutor 

MTEF needs your help this summer!  If you're at least 15 years old and have experience either teaching/playing tennis or tutoring you're eligible to volunteer. Programming begins Monday, June 21st and contnues weekdays through Friday, August 6th, Significant training provided.

2010 SUMMER VOLUNTEER INFORMATION  

 Description

 * Provide tennis instruction/tutoring from 9am-12pm; 1-4pm; or 9am-4pm daily. 

 * Assist in drills and provide instruction under direction of head tennis professional.

 * Model and reinforce life skills lessons.

 * Programing Sites: Sherman Park, Merrill Park, Kosciuszko Park, Custer High School.

 * Training Dates: June 8th, 9th, and 10th.

 Distribute t-shirt, event set-up, court monitor, distribute lunches, clean-up after event.

 Friday, Sept. 24, 6-11pm

Event set-up 9am-3pm;  high school chaperons, computer technicians, auction item assistance

Charlee Goodman
8th Grade First Serve Participant

Charlee wants to be an architect when she grows up; first of all, she wants to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Lofty ambitions for a young lady who hasn’t even graduated from the 8th grade yet! Once you get to know Charlee a little better, you might not want to bet against her. 

“Signing Charlee up for MTEF is one of the best things that has happened to her,” stated Charlee’s mom, Vanessa Goodman.  “The First Serve program has improved Charlee’s self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, not to mention how much her tennis has improved.”
