2011-2012 After School Volunteer
Tenis Instrutor 

MTEF needs your help this school year!  If you're at least 15 years old and have experience either teaching/playing tennis or tutoring you're eligible to volunteer. Programming begins Sunday, September 26th and contnues weekdays through May of 2012. Significant training provided.

2011-2012 AFTER SCHOOL VOLUNTEER INFORMATION  

 Description

 * Provide tutoring on Fridays from 5-6pm and from 12-3pm on Sundays, at Cramer Hall on the Marquette University campus

 * Teach tennis Fridays from 6-8pm and Sundays 12-3pm at Helfaer Tennis Center

 * Tutor children weekdays after school

 Distribute t-shirt, event set-up, court monitor, distribute lunches, clean-up after event.

Charlee Goodman
8th Grade First Serve Participant

Charlee wants to be an architect when she grows up; first of all, she wants to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Lofty ambitions for a young lady who hasn’t even graduated from the 8th grade yet! Once you get to know Charlee a little better, you might not want to bet against her. 

“Signing Charlee up for MTEF is one of the best things that has happened to her,” stated Charlee’s mom, Vanessa Goodman.  “The First Serve program has improved Charlee’s self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, not to mention how much her tennis has improved.”
