Summer Site Director

Site Director Position
Responsible for overall operation of one (1) of MTEF’s four summer sites including: staff supervision; preparation and implementation of daily tennis, reading, nutrition, health, and life skills curriculum; safety of children, payroll, attendance, etc. This position requires managing a staff of approximately twelve people. Considerable tennis teaching and management experience required. Seven week position, weekdays 9am-4pm, June 18-August 3. Considerable training provided. Summer Tutor

Head Literacy Tutor Position
Responsible for operation of the literacy component at one (1) of MTEF’s summer sites including: staff supervision; preparation and implementation of daily literacy, reading, nutrition, health, and life skills curriculum. This position requires managing a staff of approximately 2-4 people. Considerable school teaching and management experience required. Seven week position, weekdays 9am-4pm, June 18-August 3. After School Tennis Instructor
Assistant Tennis Instructor Position
Instructors are needed for weekday and weekend tennis instruction. Assistant instructors will be responsible for their court; running drills, games, and activities while modeling and reinforcing the First Serve Life Skill Curriculum. After School Tutor

After School Tutor Position
We are looking for full-time literacy tutors to staff MTEF’s High Performance TEAM Program at Marquette University. Tutors will work individually with students in 3rd to 12th grade.
Adult Tennis Instructor
Adult Tennis Instructor Position
We are looking for instructors to teach adult tennis lessons at neighborhood parks throughout the Milwaukee area beginning the first week of May. Instructors will be responsible for running drills, games and activities for beginner (2.0) through tournament player (4.0). Lesson times are generally 6-7:30 p.m. weekdays and 10:30-12:00 pm on weekends. Individuals should have adequate playing and teaching experience. Significant training provided.

Charlee Goodman
8th Grade First Serve Participant
Charlee wants to be an architect when she grows up; first of all, she wants to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Lofty ambitions for a young lady who hasn’t even graduated from the 8th grade yet! Once you get to know Charlee a little better, you might not want to bet against her.
“Signing Charlee up for MTEF is one of the best things that has happened to her,” stated Charlee’s mom, Vanessa Goodman. “The First Serve program has improved Charlee’s self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, not to mention how much her tennis has improved.”
