The Milwaukee Tennis & Education Foundation (MTEF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, USTA Community Tennis Association (CTA) and National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) Chapter.  MTEF serves as an umbrella organization, delivering a full menu of programs and services to the entire Milwaukee-area community.

MTEF is located at the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club, 3000 N. Sherman Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53210.

Our partnership with Mary Ryan gives MTEF administrative offices, six lit outdoor tennis courts, gym space, access to computers, and year-round programming.  Although MTEF programs are offered at sites throughout the City of Milwaukee, Mary Ryan is MTEF's official home.

MTEF is run by a volunteer board of directors, with the day-to-day operations being assumed by the executive director, Jay Massart.  President Tom O'Byrne presides over the MTEF Board. Click here to go to the board of directors page.

Charlee Goodman
8th Grade First Serve Participant

Charlee wants to be an architect when she grows up; first of all, she wants to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Lofty ambitions for a young lady who hasn’t even graduated from the 8th grade yet! Once you get to know Charlee a little better, you might not want to bet against her. 

“Signing Charlee up for MTEF is one of the best things that has happened to her,” stated Charlee’s mom, Vanessa Goodman.  “The First Serve program has improved Charlee’s self-esteem, confidence, and social skills, not to mention how much her tennis has improved.”
